A clear start

Using ADAflags

Check a public page, understand the findings and decide what to improve next.

Start with one public page

Enter a page you own or have permission to check. ADAflags checks one URL at a time. Pages behind sign-in and content that appears only after scripts run are outside this check.

Choose a preview or a saved report

Use the free preview without signing in, then download the report before leaving. To keep a report in your account, sign in and run a saved scan from your dashboard. Carrying a URL into the dashboard does not save an earlier preview.

Your dashboard shows your remaining allowance. The free account includes one completed scan and one recheck of the same page per calendar month in UTC for one website. An optional, one-time trial provides ten manual scans over 14 days. Signing in does not start the trial. Paid subscriptions are not currently available.

Understand the result

ADAflags checks seven areas in the returned HTML: page title, page language, image alternatives, form labels, button names, link names and embedded-frame names.

Findings are potential issues to review. Follow the guidance, inspect the page in a browser and confirm that a change helps people use it. “No findings” means these checks found no issues in the returned HTML. It does not establish that the website is fully accessible.

These checks do not assess rendered contrast, keyboard behavior, dynamic interactions, screen-reader usability or complete WCAG conformance. ADAflags does not automatically change your website.

Keep your work

Open saved reports from your dashboard and download an HTML copy when needed. If a saved scan is interrupted, use the previous-scan status option before starting another attempt. A download click starts the browser download; check your downloads to confirm the file was saved.

Make the page easier to read

Use the reading controls to change text size, contrast, spacing, reading width and motion. Read aloud is available when your browser provides a supported local voice. These controls change how you read ADAflags; they do not repair the website you scan.

Understand your data

Read what happens to previews, saved reports and browser preferences.

Checking for a local reading voice…

Read-aloud is offered when this browser provides a local English voice. It is separate from your screen reader.
